The Saskatchewan Filmpool Cooperative is seeking to hire a permanent staff team member to fill the position of Technical Director to support our membership while ensuring the administrative and creative success of the organization.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Key Responsibilities for this position include:
- Facilitate rentals of analog and digital cinema equipment, including maintenance, purchases, showcasing equipment on social media, check-outs and check-ins, processing payments for rentals and services, maintaining equipment inventory and database, and overall responsibility for significant equipment assets.
- Operate and maintain on-site use of analog and digital cinema equipment, including post-production rooms, analog filmmaking workshops, and darkroom.
- Facility-related including maintaining the equipment room, post-production rooms, offices, managing keys, passwords, and security access.
- Manage and administer creation support programs, including coordinating jury (peer assessor) review panels, in collaboration with the Executive Committee of the Board.
- Support to Executive Director in executing the 2025-2028 Strategic Plan.
- Management duties related to supervision of part-time Technical Coordinator team member that reports to Technical Director, including providing input on the Technical Coordinator duties and responsibilities.
- Organize technical training opportunities, including proficiency workshops for groups and individual members.
- Technical Director is expected to provide interactive engagement with members, equipment renters, etc. and as such this position is required to have a physical presence at the Filmpool office.

Compensation
The position has a salary of $60,000 per annum plus a full array of benefits, and a four-day work week (Tuesday to Friday) in-person at our downtown office.
