Through our loan program, we lend pieces of art from our Permanent Collection to museums, galleries, institutions, and special partners across the province and country.

The program helps fulfill our mandate to bring our collection into the public eye for the benefit of public access. Encouraging the display of artwork by Saskatchewan artists celebrates excellence in the arts and enriches community well-being.

Some of the places where you can find artwork from the Permanent Collection include: Saskatchewan Legislative Building, City of Regina, City of Saskatoon, City of Martensville, La Troupe du Jour, Conexus Arts Centre, MacKenzie Art Gallery, Moose Jaw Museum & Art Gallery, and Estevan Art Gallery, to name a few.

Loan Requests

For information on how to borrow artwork from the SK Arts Permanent Collection or to recieve access to the web-based collection database, please contact the Consultant: Permanent Collection, Belinda Harrow.

Borrowing institutions are advised to submit loan requests well in advance of transport pick-up or delivery. Minimum request time for loans is six months within Saskatchewan and one year for institutions located outside of Saskatchewan.

Shipping and insurance are the responsibility of the borrower. Artwork on loan must travel with art movers or be arranged for transport by SK Arts (within Saskatchewan). All costs related to transportation, customs brockerage, security escorts, crating, courier and any other extraordinary expenses are the borrower's responsibility. For example, if a new crate is required, a fee will be proposed to cover material costs.

Please complete the questions below. If you do not get a confirmation of your request in two (2) working days, reach out.
